Ellie is an incredible behaviourist that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone, no matter what their dog needs. We have been working with her since we got our rescue labradoodle, Eric, a year ago. Eric was one when we got him and we were his third home as his behaviour (mouthing, jumping up, overly excited reactive to dogs and humans and demand barking to name a few) was too much for the families he has been with, the second of which only lasted two days. Ellie has helped us understand his behaviour as a communication of an underlying need and how to respond to the need. He has done incredibly and is now able to be out and about in public interacting with dogs and humans calmly, he lets me know if he needs more space and we’ve even mastered the important post walk pub trip! We’re now working on helping him find dog friends to play with, something I wouldn’t have imagined him being able to do this early but has been possible due to the incredible support we’ve had from Ellie.

Ellie is immensely knowledgeable. She delivers her training advice in very helpful, practical ways. She is very patient and takes time to ensure that you understand what she is telling you and the reasons behind her methods. Highly recommended.

I originally did Puppy School with Ellie when my pup was 8 weeks old and I am so glad I did. I loved her course and she gave me a wonderful foundation to start my life with my new little puppy. I was very happy when she started the Juniors Course as this was perfect for where I was with my pup who is now 10 months. Once again Ellie did not disappoint she is a wonderful trainer giving you training tips that I have truly found invaluable. I love how she explains they way dogs see the world and why they do the things they do. Her classes are a lovely size and she will give different options in training methods that might work better for you and your dog. She genuinely wants to get the best out of you and your dog and is amazing at giving advise if you have any queries about anything at all. Most importantly my dog loved going, he grew so much in confidence after attending her puppy school and when we went back he remembered her and was so happy to see her again. I would certainly recommend her she made raising a puppy so much easier.

Ellie has been working with two of my dogs over the last few months and has been absolutely fantastic! Roo and Cora rescues and have had very different previous experiences - Ellie has amazing insight into dog behaviour; and how to adapt approaches to each of their needs. Our sessions with her have made a real difference; I have seen massive improvements for both of them. Roo has always been challenging, his early life in Spain was very restricted; and everything in his world subsequently results in massive overwhelm for him causing stress, anxiety and over stimulation, he gets to sensory overload very quickly! Ellie has gradually built up the work we have done with him, to find ways to help him feel more relaxed, and engage with training; and how to respond when he shows the signs of reaching his limits. All of this I am able to apply at home; and continue to see Roo improve over time. Roo and Cora love her, and enjoy seeing her, our sessions are always good fun, and Ellie is great at explaining what we are hoping to achieve, I have learnt huge amounts too, especially about observing the dogs and understanding their behaviour, and indicators of how they are feeling. Would totally recommend Ellie especially if you are struggling with a reactive dog; and you need help!

Eleanor has helped us with Bumble from when we first realised we needed help. She is patient with the owners and dogs and always puts in that bit extra! Bumble adores her which makes everything easier. Highly recommended.

Social Walk Coarse. The coarse was a great help in understanding constructive ways of getting our dog to socialize with other dogs in a non confrontational way. Ellie is a great tutor and I would recommend the coarse to any new dog owner like us.

Ellie worked with me and my dog Maggie to improve her confidence around other dogs. The training was incredibly useful and has made a massive difference to both Maggie’s happiness around other dogs and my confidence walking her on and off lead. Thank you Ellie!

Did the ‘Explore & Develop’ course with Archie my Cavapoo. It was very well organised and Archie enjoyed the hour of exploring, sniffing and learning new things. He was totally tired out by the end. Eleanor is a fantastic trainer, kind and full of knowledge and takes a genuine interest in your dog. Will definitely be doing more classes.

Ellie has been amazing - we booked our springer in for the puppy course which was truly brilliant and the focus gained from her methods stuck from the start, we then booked on to the Explore & Develop and pup has loved every second and really got her brain working as well as new experiences we also had 1:1 sessions to help our persistent puller actually enjoy her walks. Ellie has given US as much training as the pup, shared so much knowledge and insight to help develop the relationship with pup as she grows and learns, the foundations were laid in puppy class & built on in further classes/1:1 & the difference in her focus & responses to us is immense. There was no judgment where we had inadvertently created habits that were detrimental, just help & guidance to get things back on track. Couldn’t have chosen a more friendly, kind & knowledgeable trainer & pup absolutely adores Ellie!
