A great day out for all the family. The local and sustainable crafts on display were gorgeous to look at. There's a fantastic selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices, and some really interesting and fun displays in the two arenas. We really enjoyed our day out!

The Oak Fair is usually held a week before the larger Dorset County Show. Visit for a slightly less hectic experience and especially if you have an interest in speciality wood turning, furniture and timber. A nice collection of other stands and exhibits as well as a varied food tent area. We enjoyed it.

Excellent fair, lots to see and buy and very enjoyable. A little disappointed that there wasn't more people demonstrating their crafts and how to make things....

This is a small country fair held on the Stock Gaylard estate. As the name suggests, it's theme is around wood working ancient and modern. There's stuff here for all the family, plenty of car parking and loads to do. There's also a "safari" by tractor drawn trailer around the deer park....kids love it (so did I).
